zoe gitter

Zoe Gitter is a young music entrepreneur, opening for artists like Blood Orange, Empress Of, and Madeintyo and creating her own record label before even graduating high school. Having worked in a recording studio since she was 14, Zoe began DJing nightclubs and events in a female DJ duo throughout East and downtown Los Angeles before getting signed to Les Filles at 19 years old.

She moved to New York to study at the prestigious Clive Davis School of Music at NYU, earning her a music business degree with a focus in A&R and artist management. Zoe studied experimental performance for a year abroad in Berlin and dove deeply into the worlds of techno, breakbeat, industrial, and grime music. All the while, she DJed all over the world for Paris and New York Fashion Weeks, CFDA awards, MTV, Flaunt Magazine, and many other parties and events during her stay in Europe.

Upon returning to Los Angeles, Zoe worked on Charli XCX’s management team and DJed with Charli XCX for Playboy at Miami Art Basel, opened for Paris Hilton at SXSW, performed for Rolling Stone, Neiman Marcus Holiday Party and numerous others private parties and clubs.

Zoe draws musical inspiration from her extensive appreciation for electronic music history and years spent abroad in Europe. She’s deeply inspired by the founders of House and Techno, as well as influences from her travels all over the world, intentionally integrating Latin / reggaeton, afrobeat, and UK grime rhythms into her mixes.
