Jameela Elfaki is a multidisciplinary artist, Photographer, Director and DJ based between London & the USA.

Transcending mediums, Jameela expresses her creativity seamlessly between Creative and Music. As a DJ Jameela blends sounds from her East Midlands – British upbringing with her North-East African Sudanese roots, blending cultures, rhythms and sounds.

Coming from a musical and creative home – Growing up Jameela was surrounded by melodic sounds, drums and reggae and classical music. With a background in singing, music composition and dance, Jameela combines her natural ear for harmonious sounds, love of rhythms & sound discovery to bring a plethora of sounds to every set. You can catch her playing a wide range of music from many corners of the world, House, Afro-house, UK funky, dub & break beat, grime, Jazz / Neo soul, to Rnb and Gnawa House. She brings a Playfulness and something special to every set.

Having a certified foundation in Fashion and the creative industry Jameela has played internationally for the likes of fashion brands such as Burberry, Axel Arigato, and at cultural sites like the Tate Modern(UK),The Standard, Sole DXB and more.

Jameela is also the founder, EIC and Creative Director of AZEEMA, an award winning global fashion and culture magazine and creative agency celebrating women from the Global Majority. Which was Subsequently nominated for The DAZED 100 in 2021.

As a Photographer/Director she has worked for COACH, ON, Adidas, Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Nike, DAZED, ELLE and more.
