Cara Stricker is an Australian born director, writer, musician and artist. Stricker first started making films, photographs and installations as a young teenager, stemming from her background as a dancer and musician. She is known for her work that weaves together emotive narratives across film, visual arts and the dance floor, influenced by her eclectic music taste – rare vinyl, deep house tracks, and dance beats.

Her global recognition includes commissions with iconic brands and musicians, such as Gucci, Chanel, Bvlargi, SZA, Blood Orange, Alicia Keys and Kelsey Lu. Her work has been awarded and screened internationally including film festivals Cannes Lions, Tribeca Film festival, Camerimage, exhibitions including at Superblue and the Hole NYC, and graced the pages of publications such as Vogue and Dazed.

She cultivates experiences that blur the line between the visual, visceral, and a pulsating dance floor. She currently lives in Los Angeles.
